Call of Duty: World at War

After their wildly successful shooter Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Activision set its sights on finishing the fight in World War II. Our objective was clear: deliver a fresh and authentic look at a classic genre while retaining the franchise's growing fan-base. The result was a successful broadcast spot and trailer that didn't pull any punches when dealing out a cold dose of the realities of war. A grunge-fueled soundtrack set the tone for the visceral imagery of hand-to-hand brawls and blazing flame-throwers to shed light on the chaos of battle in a genre swamped with grandeur and glory. When the smoke had cleared, Call of Duty: World at War took its place as a premier shooter for any era.
