Based on the hugely successful Warhammer 40,000 IP, THQ developed an action-packed third-person arcade shooter for PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade. Although the gameplay is simplistic by nature and as an 'arcade' offering on the consoles more affordable, it was still important that the key art uphold the pedigree of the other more sophisticated titles in the franchise, namely the Dawn of War series and the highly anticipated Space Marine game. We maintained and elaborated upon the gritty, realistic art style of the IP. Using the in-game 3D models, we built a dynamic co-op scene from the battlefield up, perfected down to the pixel by our illustration team. In Kill Team gamers can play solo or team up in same screen co-op and there's even an exclusive Power Sword weapon for gamers to unlock to use in the forthcoming Space Marine, scheduled to launch in the US on September 6th.
